My parent took the crossover plunge! Kind of my fault they've always been happy sedan and wagon people but I have 2 kids and they have one of their own (waaaaaay younger brother of mine) so they needed something that fit us all. Insert the QX60 in graphite shadow.. The bad news is my mom's giving up her GS400 (on craigslist as we speak) she's owned it for 10 years and it will pain here to see it go but ultimately she will now get to cruse around with her kid and grand kids in tow so that will make her forget all about it before you know it. Can't wait to see it and press all it buttons! Also This will be our 4th variant of the vq engine between the two of us so at least that much we are familiar with. Up next I'm pretty sure the step pops V70 will be out the door for a new GTI. He's been a Volvo guy for 20 years now and seems like he wants to return to his hot hatch roots. More power to him!

and even the 3rd row in the pretty big SUVs suck!
for a truly decent 3rd row you need a true Murican SUV. Suburban rocks

the thought has crossed my mind but honestly just moved my family south 600 miles had a house built and bought the old lady a new van. I drive a company vehicle so just not in the cards at the moment.

Having driven the hell out of it over the years I can let it go and still feel at peace. A great car but the auto in it is not my favorite would love a swapped manual one but dont have the balls to invest.
